Climate standards group SBTi launches new net zero rules to help Asia turn climate pledges into action

Asia, which has seen a 53 per cent jump in firms setting SBTi‑aligned targets and now accounts for over a third of all validated commitments, is expected to benefit as the updated rulebook introduces tailored flexibilities to help companies in Global South markets join – and stay in – the net-zero race, according to the organisation.
