ADM Capital announced the final close of its Asia Climate-smart Landscapes Fund at $48M, to provide climate-smart land-use financing for SMEs across Indonesia’s agriculture, forestry, aquaculture, and land-use sectors. -
India-based Anicut Capital launched the ₹175 crore Grand Anicut Seed Fund, with a ₹75 crore greenshoe option, to back over 20 pre-seed to Series A startups across deeptech, enterprise technology, consumer, and financial services sectors. -
US-based Dimension closed its third fund at $800M to invest in companies at the intersection of AI, biotechnology, and frontier computing, spanning drug discovery, semiconductors, machine learning infrastructure, and next-generation science. -
India-based Steptrade Capital completed the first close of its ₹500 crore Chanakya Opportunities Fund II with over ₹100 crore in commitments, to invest in pre-IPO growth-stage companies across advanced manufacturing, energy transition, and emerging technologies. -
US-based Avenue Growth Partners closed its second fund at $155M, to back early growth-stage vertical AI and software companies. -
India-based Transition VC launched its ₹1,500 crore Fund II to back engineering-led startups across energy transition, industrial deeptech, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, geothermal, and nuclear technologies.
Top Climate Tech Funding Rounds
The past two weeks saw major funding flow into fusion reactors, solar installations, heat pumps, thermal storage, weed control solutions and more.
San Jose, US-based Antora Energy raised $550M in a Series C round co-led by G2 Venture Partners and Eclipse, with participation from Ribbit Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, Decarbonization Partners, Impact Science Ventures, Trust Ventures, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and Lowercarbon Capital, to scale thermal battery deployment and expand US manufacturing.
Torrance, US-based Antares raised $470M in a Series C round co-led by Paradigm and Caffeinated Capital, with participation from Point72 Ventures, Shine Capital, Industrious Ventures, and others, to accelerate the deployment of compact nuclear microreactors for defense and space applications, including its Mark-1 reactor and initial production deployments beginning in 2028.
Berlin, Germany-based Enpal raised $420M through a securitisation transaction backed by a portfolio of around 11,500 residential solar and heat pump loans, together with long-term financing partner M&G Investments, to support the financing of residential solar and heat pump installations
California, US-based Sila Nanotechnologies, Inc. raised $300M in funding, led by Atreides Management, LP and Sutter Hill Ventures, with participation from 8VC, Bessemer Venture Partners, Matrix Partners, and T. Rowe Price Associates, to expand its silicon-carbon battery materials manufacturing facility in Washington and scale domestic production for EVs and other advanced technologies.
Jakarta, Indonesia-based Star Energy Geothermal secured a $300M loan facility from Bangkok Bank to accelerate the development of its Suoh Sekincau and Hamiding geothermal projects, expanding its geothermal generation capacity in Indonesia.
Tokyo, Japan-based ASUENE Inc. raised $87M series D round from Decarbonization Partners, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), Ricoh, SBI Investment, Mizuho Capital, 採用担当GLIN, and other new and existing investors, to accelerate international M&A, expand its AI-powered sustainability platform, and grow across Europe, North America, and Asia.
China-based Supao Power raised $69M in a Series C round backed by Guoxin Industrial Investment Group, Dingfeng Innovation, and Cabot Capital, to advance its electric skateboard chassis technology for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
London, UK-based Greyparrot raised $27M in a Series B round led by technology investor Omar Mir, to scale its AI waste intelligence platform and help recover over one million tonnes of waste by 2030.
Vista, California, US-based Seatrec secured $30.8M from the U.S. Department of Defense through the Accelerate the Procurement and Fielding of Innovative Technologies (APFIT) program to scale production of its Persistent Subsea Autonomous Profiler (PSAP), a subsea drone powered by ocean thermal energy harvesting, for long-endurance underwater monitoring and sensing.
Oxford, UK-based Moa Technology raised $29.6M in Series C funding, co-led by Oxford Science Enterprises and Supernova Invest, with participation from Agri Investment Fund, GrainInnovate, Infinity Investment Partners Limited, Magdalen College School, Oxford, Lansdowne Partners, Parkwalk, and Oxford University Innovation, to advance its novel herbicide discovery platform and accelerate the commercialization of next-generation weed control solutions.
