Private equity firms 65 Equity Partners and Tower Capital Asia are exploring a potential sale of Asia-Pacific corporate services provider Boardroom, with the business reportedly expected to attract significant interest from global buyout firms, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The owners have reportedly appointed Goldman Sachs to advise on a possible transaction, which could value the Singapore-headquartered company at around $1bn.

The sale process is understood to be in its early stages, with no certainty that a transaction will proceed.

Several international private equity firms have reportedly expressed preliminary interest in the business, including Advent, CVC Capital Partners, EQT and TPG.

Boardroom is a provider of corporate and business support services, offering incorporation, corporate secretarial, accounting, tax, payroll and share registry solutions. The company operates across key Asia-Pacific markets including Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China, supported by a broader regional partner network.

65 Equity Partners and Tower Capital acquired Boardroom in 2022 for approximately SGD312m.
