Banks are shelling out more than US$500 billion a year to finance the largest contributors to climate change in the Global South, a region that is especially vulnerable to the roiling weather disasters gripping the planet. That figure is more than 20 times the amount the region received in funding to combat climate change, according to a report released by ActionAid last week.   The report tracks
