CO2 removal ‘gap’ shows countries ‘lack progress’ for 1.5°C warming limit

Plans to 'draw down' CO2 from the atmosphere – known as carbon dioxide removal (CDR) – 'fall short' of the quantities needed to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, new research warns.
