Malaysia's Exim Bank defends US$3 billion coal plant in Vietnam, citing environmental benefits; clarifies 'lead arranger' role

In response to queries from Eco-Business, Exim Bank clarified that it did not provide a recent US$980 million loan for equipment financing of the Song Hau 2 plant. The project has since been terminated by the Vietnamese government.
